About Sarouk Rugs

Sarouk rugs come from the Arak region of central Persia and are renowned for dense, durable construction and richly detailed floral work. Antique Ferahan Sarouks are finely woven and refined, while the well-known American Sarouk style features detached floral sprays on deep rose and red grounds. Their robust hand-knotted wool wears beautifully over generations. Collectors value Sarouks for combining formal Persian elegance with the strength to serve as everyday investment-quality furnishings.
