About Tabriz Rugs

Tabriz rugs hail from the great weaving city of northwest Persia and span an extraordinary range of quality, from sturdy village pieces to some of the most finely knotted carpets ever produced. Designs include central medallions and all-over Herati patterns, frequently highlighted with silk. Tabriz's master-workshop tradition and high knot counts make its finest rugs true collector pieces. The city's versatility means a Tabriz can suit anything from a traditional study to a refined contemporary space.
