About Oushak Rugs

Oushak rugs are woven in western Turkey and have been treasured for centuries for their luminous, soft palettes and spacious, open designs. Gentle tones of soft red, gold, ivory, and blue-grey, paired with large-scale medallions and all-over patterns, give Oushaks a relaxed elegance designers adore. The lustrous, hand-knotted wool takes on a beautiful sheen and patina with age. Antique Oushak carpets are among the most coveted decorative rugs, prized for blending effortlessly into both classic and modern interiors.
