About Kerman Rugs

Kerman rugs come from southeastern Persia and are celebrated for some of the most refined and artistic weaving in the Persian tradition. Elaborate floral medallions, vase designs, and even pictorial scenes appear on soft pastel and ivory grounds. The finely hand-knotted wool and sophisticated palettes give Kerman carpets a painterly, luxurious quality. Antique Kermans are especially prized by collectors for their craftsmanship and the gentle elegance they bring to traditional and transitional rooms alike.
