Our online collection contains a smattering of pictures to represent the variety of our inventory. You will find the categories listed to the left
and may find things of interest in all groups.
Our Refined Antiques collection represents some of the more formal pieces of our collections. Generally, these rugs were woven in city settings one hundred or more years ago. Informal Antiques includes township and tribal rugs requiring less detail, generally woven with a larger knot. The Semi-Antiques collection covers a wide age range of rugs woven between 1920 and 1960. Where as the Persian
collection consists of more modern Iranian weavings from highly acclaimed workshops in cities such as Tabriz, Isfahan, Sarouk, etc. Our Persian Silks collection contains some of the finest rugs woven with silk pile on a silk foundation from the city of Qum. Persian Quashquai
requires a separate collection because they are the most inspired modern art currently being woven in Iran. The designs represent a nod to the art’s history, our own creations and custom pieces. Alas, our Non-Persian collection encompasses rugs woven in Egypt, India & Nepal, both as their designs and our own looms commission work.
